SWBC is seeking a treasury/accounting professional in San Antonio, TX to manage bank and general ledger reconciliations, research items, and coordinate with banks. You will automate processes, support cash management, and contribute to month-end close and reporting across Treasury functions.

The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently, with travel locally as needed. Bachelor’s degree preferred and at least five years’ relevant experience.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or related field.
• Five years of experience in banking, treasury, ACH, general ledger, or related.
• Strong problem solving and ability to work an issue independently from start to finish.
• Good understanding of general ledger accounting and ability to research historical transactions.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and the Internet.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to details, and ability to multitask.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Mansioni

• Reconciles corporate bank and general ledger accounts monthly, using automated tools or Excel.
• Researches outstanding items on bank reconciliations and makes adjusting journal entries or requests bank transfers.
• Coordinates with banks to resolve issues (user access, positive pay files, reconciliation issues).
• Sends weekly cash position reports to leaders and provides variance analysis.
• Pursues automation of reconciliation processes and ensures consistency with bank reconciliation methods.
• Tracks outstanding checks and coordinates clearance or escheatment processes.
• Prepares journal entries and monthly reconciliations for investment brokerage accounts; supports investment schedules.
• Manages Unclaimed Property tasks, files state reports, and processes recouped funds.
• Handles Escheatment paperwork within state timelines and assists treasury leadership as needed.
• Supports month-end close and cross-department cash posting/reconciliation activities.
