Job Duties

1. Under general supervision, performs credit and related functions to manage customer credit risk within Halliburton’s North America customer base.
2. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Credit management, including annual, periodic, and ad hoc credit reviews of assigned countries/regions.
• Assisting in onboarding new customers via Halliburton’s credit application and approval process.
• Decisions concerning customer credit risk, review, and assessment of exposures to North American customers.
• Negotiating and arranging issuance of letters of credit, bank guarantees, and escrow agreements.
• Managing month-end close process, coordinating with Order to Cash and Collections teams to release credit-blocked sales orders.
• Producing routine and ad hoc reports on account receivables, days sales outstanding, and credit risk exposure.
• Documenting credit transactions and assisting in resolving related accounting issues. Proper execution impacts cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations indirectly.

Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Business or Finance and 3 years of experience.

Candidates with qualifications exceeding the minimum requirements may be considered for higher-level roles based on experience, additional job requirements, and business needs. Opportunities may range from Treasury Analyst to Treasury Manager.
