Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Manager (Operations Manager II) to lead a diverse team, drive process improvements, and ensure a safe, efficient warehouse operation. This role oversees onboarding and development of Supervisors, coordinates with HR for hiring, and works with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations across multiple sites.

The position involves 50-75% travel to customer sites to support start-ups and launches, with a national salary range of $72,000 - $85,000

Qualifications

1+ years logistics industry experience
2+ years supervisory or management experience
P&L management, objective setting and project management (preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate and develop Supervisors and indirect reports; foster inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardize processes and best practices.
Uphold health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
Compile reports on KPIs (productivity, accuracy) to support decisions and continuous improvement.
Facilitate open communication among leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
Collaborate with HR and site leadership on hiring Supervisors to align with values and job requirements.
Ensure cross-functional collaboration to fulfill customer orders promptly.
Partner with customers to address issues and drive customer satisfaction.
