Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a senior leader to manage the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) department within the Atlanta office. You will oversee preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of VDC deliverables for data center projects, ensuring alignment with budgets and RFP requirements.

You will lead hiring, mentoring, and performance in the VDC team while coordinating with HR and finance to maximize project value and reimbursement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of related experience with exposure to design, cost, sequencing, and field installations as it relates to VDC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the VDC department, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls for third-party resources and tools.
• Develop staffing plans, hire and develop talent, and build a strong VDC team.
• Collaborate with HR for staffing and internal leadership development, and participate in hiring processes.
• Draft and approve VDC action plans and schedules aligned with project goals and RFP requirements.
• Oversee project workflows, standardize processes, and drive continuous improvement across VDC tools and methods.
• Interact with Finance and Operations to optimize cost recovery and reimbursements for VDC activities.
• Visit job sites to support project setup and resolve VDC issues with clients and design teams.
