Osmose Utilities Services is seeking a field inspector trainee to support the safety, reliability, and functionality of wooden utility poles. You will learn inspection procedures, perform field data collection, and help develop maintenance plans while traveling extensively across regions.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and adherence to safety standards. Training and transportation lodging are provided as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Must pass a criminal background check and a drug test.
• Possess a current/valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift up to 40 lbs, and hike on varied terrain.
• Demonstrate leadership to safely operate and maintain equipment and tools.
• Professional attitude representing Osmose Utilities Services to clients and communities.

Responsabilités

• Undergo training to understand basic utility pole inspections and safety protocols.
• Learn and follow inspection procedures to evaluate pole condition and detect deterioration or damage.
• Assist in identifying issues and contribute to maintenance planning.
• Complete inspection records and report in compliance with codes and regulations.
• Collect field data and perform daily and weekly reporting.
• Maintain records for tools, electronics, vehicles, and equipment.
• Adhere to safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.
