Job summary

Garyjames-Inc- is seeking a Training Specialist to design, deliver, and maintain high-quality training and documentation resources across the organization. You will lead new-hire orientations, ongoing staff development, and branch-level performance initiatives while tracking training metrics.

Travel is extensive—roughly 90% of the role. You will create materials, conduct sessions in person and remote, and collaborate with leadership to align programs with business goals and standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in branch operations or staffing industry roles.
• Demonstrated experience training or coaching employees.
• Proficient with business technology platforms and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience creating, updating, or maintaining documentation such as SOPs, checklists, or training guides.

Responsibilities

• Develop Training Materials: Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
• Conduct training sessions in person and remotely with staff to improve performance and branch profitability.
• Provide onboarding orientation for new employees.
• Support retraining and improvement plans for underperforming areas or branches.
• Promote adoption of company standards by integrating them into learning content.
• Identify training gaps and propose new training resources.
• Collaborate with leadership to align programs with business objectives and performance expectations.
• Conduct pre-training and post-training assessments to measure knowledge retention and effectiveness.
• Track and report training activities and employee progress; assist with performance assessments across branches.
• Assist in drafting and updating SOPs and maintain the Document Repository Resource Center.
