Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is seeking a friendly teller to serve members across multiple branches in East Tennessee. This full-time, on-site role focuses on accurate transactions and outstanding member service.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account inquiries while maintaining cash accuracy and compliance. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and service-industry experience strongly preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members in a professional manner.
• Process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Maintain cash drawer with minimal discrepancies.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
• Issue money orders, process debit card disputes, issue checks, and other teller duties.
• Respond to member requests and questions regarding accounts, products and services.
• Review account information for restrictions and funds availability.
• Research and resolve account issues.
• May serve as branch Membership Officer or Security Specialist.
• Train to operate the vault and open/close the branch.
• May open new membership accounts.
• May process, close and disburse consumer loan applications.
• Work with others to meet branch and Credit Union goals.
• Educate members on online banking and mobile apps.
• Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.
