Job summary

Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is seeking a part-time teller to greet members, process deposits, withdrawals and loan payments, and maintain accurate cash handling. You’ll support branch operations, promote online banking, and contribute to a high-quality member experience.

The role offers paid training, PTO accrual, and a 401(k) with employer match. Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for incentive pay and pay increases based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; cash handling and service experience preferred.
• Provide friendly, accurate teller service and handle deposits, withdrawals, and payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members warmly and process transactions promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer with minimal discrepancies.
• Stay informed on applicable laws and credit union policies.
• Perform teller duties such as money orders, debit card disputes, checks, and account updates.
• Respond to member questions and resolve issues with professionalism.
• Promote Credit Union products and online services to members.
