Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and safely operate drilling equipment to complete assignments in various weather conditions.

Strong emphasis on safety, site setup and maintenance, and adherence to project schedules. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Experience operating drilling equipment and understanding bore paths.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
