Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, safely operate drilling equipment, and verify utilities by potholing.

Responsibilities include developing bore schedules, site setup, and equipment maintenance, while working in all weather conditions. The company emphasizes a safety-first culture and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment, including capabilities and drill setup/design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize Mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned
