nVent is expanding its field services team to support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair across North America. As Traveling Superintendent, you will be the on-site representative for large-scale bus duct installations, coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The role requires 75% overnight travel across the continental US, extended stays at client sites, and a focus on safety, schedule, and cost control.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years leading or coordinating field-based project activities at customer sites.
• Proven experience supporting project execution at client locations, including schedule coordination and progress reporting.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills for fast-paced field environments.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
• Solid understanding of OSHA requirements and field safety practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling or tracking tools.
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight up to 75% across the country.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as nVent's primary on-site representative for large-scale engineered bus duct system installation projects.
• Coordinate daily project activities involving customers, subcontractors, Field Service Technicians, Project Managers, and internal support teams.
• Lead project site coordination and customer progress meetings with regular updates on schedules and risks.
• Monitor schedules, workforce, equipment, material readiness, and project progress.
• Review drawings and project scope to support delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Make sound field decisions balancing safety, schedule, and costs.
• Complete daily reports, timekeeping records, and status updates with accurate project records.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all sites.
