ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent for multifamily ground-up projects in Chicago, IL. The role requires leadership of field operations, strict safety adherence, and strong scheduling skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will manage administrative tasks, coordinate subs, and report progress to the project team while traveling on long-term assignments across sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience
• Experience leading wood, steel, and concrete commercial multifamily projects
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings and receive project details
• Develop and maintain project schedules and manpower plans
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule
• Coordinate subcontractors and integrate work with schedules
• Maintain daily project diaries and release information promptly
• Ensure adherence to the company safety program across all phases
