ARCO/Murray National Construction is hiring a Traveling Superintendent for multifamily ground‑up projects in Chicago, IL. You will lead field operations, coordinate schedules, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality while driving projects to meet time and budget targets.

The role emphasizes leadership in a fast-paced environment, field administration, and collaboration with project managers to deliver on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' of construction experience.
• Experience leading wood, steel, and concrete commercial multifamily projects preferred.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.

Responsibilities

• Attend preconstruction meetings and receive project information.
• Assist in preparing construction schedules and organize manpower and equipment.
• Direct and control the project to meet specifications and schedule target profitability.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure integration with project plans.
• Maintain daily diary and report progress to project manager.
• Ensure adherence to safety program across all phases.
