Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up light to mid-industrial construction projects across the United States. This role involves managing field operations, schedule management, budgeting, and coordinating diverse teams from day one.

You will travel to project sites, oversee subcontractors, ensure safety, and drive project success within time and budget constraints. A proven leadership record and 5+ years in similar roles are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on industrial, warehouse or tilt-wall projects.
• Willing to travel when needed.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling software.
• Valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job (standing/walking, lifting up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review to receive project information for preplanning.
• Prepare a schedule of construction activities and manpower with the project manager.
• Direct and control the project to meet specs and schedule while ensuring profit.
• Coordinate subcontractors to align with project schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors promptly of schedule changes.
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review requisitions, POs, invoices, and other significant reports.
• Cooperate with owner representatives and architects in the project.
• Hold site meetings with the project manager and regional manager.
• Report regularly on progress, plans, and problems affecting costs/schedules.
• Maintain a daily diary of project facts and approvals.
• Adhere to the company’s safety program in all phases.
• Demonstrate leadership and address conflicts effectively.
• Exhibit commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
