Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 who will travel up to 100% to project assignments nationwide. You will lead safety, manage subcontractors, staff and schedules, and ensure documentation and budgets support timely, profitable project completion.

Responsibilities include coordinating field activities, attending OAC meetings, and applying lean construction principles. High attention to detail, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience in construction management and cost control is expected.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors, workflow, staff and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans and manages project site care and control.
• Leads meetings and manages project schedules and reports.
• Negotiates with owners/architects for changes and maintains project profitability.
• Supports field staffing, budget tracking and procurement processes.
• Ensures QA/QC and documentation compliance, and project closeouts.
