Job summary

Catamount Constructors, Inc. seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on diverse projects. You will supervise on-site crews, coordinate with the PM, architects, and owners, and drive progress toward plan and owner specifications.

You will create and manage a 3-week schedule, monitor safety, quality, and budgets, and document daily activities, RFI's, and turnover tasks. The role offers growth in a 100% employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a general contractor (industrial, manufacturing or commercial work preferred).
• Experience coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and owners to meet schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Ability to lead on-site activities, manage change orders, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Procore, and comfort with standard construction tools and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Onsite during all work activities to ensure the project meets client expectations.
• Maintain communication with the Project Manager and subcontractors; manage change orders, schedule, and back charges.
• Create and adhere to a well-planned 3-week schedule and maintain quality checks (deficiency lists).
• Help keep the project on budget by managing costs and logs.
• Lead pre-task safety meetings, post required notices, and document safety warnings.
• Document daily construction reports, RFI's, T&M issues, and project photography.
• Oversee storm water prevention plan adherence; manage close-out duties like turnover matrix and as-built documents.
