Job summary

Catamount Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support site leadership, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain detailed project reports. The role emphasizes safety, schedule discipline, and cost tracking across diverse markets.

The successful candidate will bring at least 2 years of GC training experience, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and Procore. This is a hands-on on-site position with long-term career growth within a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience training with a general contractor.
• Education: HS diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a complete Daily Construction Report with weather, activities, and photos.
• Maintain cost tracking logs on site and manage expenditures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure clear expectations and issue resolution.
• Schedule work to expedite the project and resolve issues early.
• Prepare daily/weekly safety reports and attend monthly safety meetings.
• Review submittals for compliance with project requirements.
• Develop and maintain the project turnover matrix with sign-offs.
• Develop the punch-list with PM and resolve within two weeks.
• Support superintendents by taking on tasks to reduce workload.
