Job summary

Catamount Constructors, Inc. seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations, coordinating with the Project Manager, Architects and Owners to drive projects forward on schedule and per Owner specifications.

You will supervise daily construction activity, foster strong communication, and guide teams toward quality results. You will manage safety, cost tracking, and comprehensive documentation from project start to closeout, while contributing to a 100% employee-owned culture and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related construction management experience or training with a general contractor, renovation/tenant improvement (ground-up helpful) or equivalent education/experience.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferably a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project) and experience with Procore.

Responsibilities

• Onsite during all work activities to ensure the job meets or exceeds client expectations.
• Maintain communication with Project Manager, hold weekly sub-contractor meetings, manage change orders and schedule.
• Create and follow a well-planned 3-week schedule and maintain a quality deficiency list.
• Help the job stay on budget by managing cost expenditures and maintaining logs.
• Champion job-site safety with pre-task meetings, notices, reports, MSDS, and safety warnings.
• Document in daily construction reports, RFI’s, photography and other key records.
• Oversee Storm Water Prevention plan notifications and adherence.
• Handle close-out duties including turnover matrix, as-built documents and punch-lists.
