Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Austin, TX is seeking a seasoned Superintendent for Self-Perform Operations (SPO) focused on drywall and related trades. You will plan, forecast, and direct SPO activities, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers and the project team to meet safety, schedule and quality goals.

You will supervise trade labor, monitor progress, and optimize production while implementing the SPO safety plan and ensuring adherence to contract documents and field constraints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in superintendent role for interior systems trades
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management or related field is a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, lead, direct and coordinate SPO staff, subcontractors and suppliers
• Oversee and confirm implementation of planned work for safety, schedule, quality and production
• Supervise Trade labor in drywall or other areas of responsibility
• Sequence work to meet project schedule with Project Superintendent
• Monitor and report progress and completion percentages for SPO tasks
• Plan, communicate and implement performance of work related to scheduling, delivery and staffing
• Develop and implement SPO safety plan in compliance with company standards
