Job summary

ARCO Companies in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a seasoned Lead Superintendent for ground-up cold storage and light industrial projects. You will manage field operations from day one, drive safety and quality, and ensure on-time, on-budget completion.

You’ll lead scheduling, coordinate subcontractors, and report progress to the project manager. Travel nationwide is required; relocation assistance may apply.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on cold storage projects (min 100k sq ft).
• At least five years of recent experience working within the Southeast.
• Willing to travel nationally.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings to receive project information for preplanning.
• Develop a schedule of construction activities and staffing needs.
• Direct total construction to meet specs and schedule while optimizing profit.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure integration with project plans and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
