Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a seasoned lead superintendent to manage ground-up, cold storage and light industrial projects 100k sq ft and above. You will direct field operations from preconstruction through completion, enforce the safety program, hold site meetings, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery per project specs.

You’ll travel nationally, coordinate with subcontractors and the project team, and mentor crews to achieve superior quality while maintaining ARCO’s standards and client

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on warehouse or distribution center projects ≥100k sq ft
• Willing to travel nationally
• Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling programs

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings to receive project information and preplanning details
• Prepare schedules of construction activities, staffing, and equipment requirements
• Direct and control the project to meet specifications and schedule while ensuring profit
• Coordinate subcontractors to align with project plans and progress
• Inform supervisors/subcontractors of schedule changes promptly
• Assist in preparing progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs
