Job summary

ARCO is seeking a Traveling Superintendent with 5-15+ years of construction experience to lead complex projects, especially those with advanced manufacturing facilities. You will manage MEP coordination, equipment installation, and critical path scheduling while ensuring safety and quality.

You will travel, oversee subcontractors, and report to the project manager and regional manager, ensuring on-time progress and profitability across sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5-15+ years' construction experience; at least 5 years as Assistant Superintendent or Lead Superintendent on advanced manufacturing or mission critical projects.
• Experience leading MEP trades on data center, battery storage, or manufacturing facility projects preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; familiar with project scheduling programs.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings to receive project information and preplanning details.
• Prepare construction activity schedules, staffing structures, and equipment requirements.
• Direct and control the project to meet specs and schedule for profitability.
• Coordinate subcontractors to align with project schedules and ensure seamless integration.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
• Assist in preparing progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and other reports.
