Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress, workmanship, safety, and quality.

• Travel: Extensive U.S. Travel | Potential International Travel

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent based in California or Arizona to oversee field operations for commercial construction projects at locations throughout the United States, with some potential international travel.

This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced commercial construction professional who can take ownership of a job site, coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors, resolve field issues, and keep projects safe, organized, on schedule, and aligned with plans, specifications, and quality expectations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel
• Manage daily and weekly project schedules
• Coordinate multiple trades and construction activities
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documents
• Monitor project progress, workmanship, safety, and quality
• Resolve field issues and potential scheduling conflicts

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• At least 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Previous experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership position
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and building practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades
• Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA requirements
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to independently make decisions and resolve field issues
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and construction management software
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively and remain at project sites for extended periods
