Job summary

Pop-Up Talent seeks an experienced Traveling Superintendent based in California or Arizona to oversee field operations for commercial projects across the United States, with some international travel.

This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating trades, reviewing drawings and schedules, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance while traveling extensively and staying on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership position.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently make decisions and resolve field issues.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively and remain at project sites for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects.

• Maintain daily reports, photographs, schedules, and field documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, punch-list completion, project closeout, and turnover.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent based in California or Arizona to oversee field operations for commercial construction projects at locations throughout the United States, with some potential international travel.

This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced commercial construction professional who can take ownership of a job site, coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors, resolve field issues, and keep projects safe, organized, on schedule, and aligned with plans, specifications, and quality expectations.
