Ignite Education Solutions is seeking a Traveling Substitute Teacher Liaison to be assigned daily to open positions within the Tussey Mountain School District. This part-time role offers flexible hours aligned with school calendars and districts' schedules.

You will support schools by filling substitute vacancies, ensuring continuity of instruction, and complying with PA mandated reporting requirements. The position includes training opportunities and benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Willingness to obtain all required clearances and training.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk and bend for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Understand mandated reporter responsibilities under PA State Law.
• Supervise activities to ensure safety at all times.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Take attendance according to district procedures.
• Set basic behavior expectations per school policies.
• Ensure students are not left unattended.
• Use instructional methods and materials aligned to objectives.
• Carry out lesson plans with classroom teachers' guidance.
• Guide learning towards curriculum goals as indicated in plans.
