Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and PA teaching credentials required.
• Clearance and background check compliance required by state law.
• Act 24 Arrest/Conviction report and certification required.
• Act 34 state police clearance required.
• Act 114 federal criminal history clearance required.
• Act 126 suicide prevention training required.
• Act 151 child abuse clearance required.
• Act 71 suicide prevention training required.
• Act 168 sexual misconduct release required.
• Tuberculosis test/physical required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in the absence of a regular teacher.
• Follow lesson plans and curriculum objectives.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Report student injuries and discipline issues to administration.
• Perform other duties as directed by administration.
