Job summary

Ignite Education Solutions is seeking a dedicated Staff Substitute to support our School District Staffing Programs in Johnstown, PA. This full-time role provides coverage for the Paraprofessional Department and office support during non-instructional periods, with opportunities to assist summer programming.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, and pay ranges from $12 to $15 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Experience working with children

Responsibilities

• Child Supervision: assist students with physical disabilities, personal care, and supervision during school hours.
• Classroom Management: assist with records, inventory, and maintaining a neat classroom.
• Instruction: present material, tutor students, and develop motor skills.
• Learning Lamp Site Functions and Program Assistance: maintain records, assist with daily programming, ensure safety, follow DHS/STARS regulations.
• General: maintain professional attitude, participate in daily activities and report any concerns.
