Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support at CVS Pharmacy locations, traveling between stores to maintain computer systems, hardware, and store technology. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and support POS, pharmacy systems, and network connectivity.

This role requires hands-on hardware troubleshooting, travel between stores within Taunton/New Bedford, MA, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, repairs, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Travel between CVS Pharmacy locations to provide on-site technical support and maintenance.
• Support store systems including POS, pharmacy systems, photo kiosks, and inventory management.
• Perform preventative maintenance, software updates, and hardware upgrades.
• Install and configure new technology in stores, including POS terminals and network access.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues on-site with root-cause analysis.
• Document service calls, installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with IT teams to upscale and resolve issues as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to store colleagues while troubleshooting equipment.
• Manage inventory of IT parts and tools; track stock and orders.
• Participate in on-call rotation for urgent service needs.
