Job summary

Steel Tech USA is seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to manage field operations across projects in the Southern United States. The role emphasizes Lean construction, reading construction drawings, and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.

You will lead planning, scheduling, and on-site coordination, overseeing subcontractors and trades while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising commercial, institutional, or industrial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Experience with cold-formed steel (CFS) construction methods is a plus.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
• Strong knowledge of Lean Construction methodologies, including Last Planner System.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and project specifications are met.
• Supervise subcontractors and crews; monitor productivity and resolve field issues.
• Conduct daily safety audits and enforce OSHA standards and company policies.
• Coordinate just-in-time delivery of equipment and materials for Lean site logistics.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings and weekly work planning sessions using Last Planner System.
• Maintain comprehensive daily field reports and schedule progress updates.
