Job summary

Steel Tech USA is seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to oversee all site activities, coordinating field operations, Lean construction, and safety compliance on multiple projects.

You will interpret drawings, manage schedules with Last Planner, and lead crews and subcontractors while traveling to project sites in the Southern United States.

This role rewards hands-on leadership, continuous improvement, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver quality, on-time projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervising commercial or industrial construction.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Experience with cold-formed steel (CFS) construction is preferred.
• Proficient in construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project).
• Lean Construction knowledge including the Last Planner System.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safety and quality.
• Supervise subcontractors and crews; monitor productivity.
• Conduct daily safety audits and OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate just-in-time delivery to reduce waste.
• Maintain daily field reports and schedule updates.
• Lead Last Planner stand-ups and weekly planning.
• Interface with GC, clients, and design professionals.
