Job summary

Steel Tech USA is seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all field construction activities on site. The candidate will manage field operations, planning and scheduling, and Lean construction implementation, with an emphasis on reading drawings and CFS knowledge.

Travel will be high-volume across project sites in the Southern United States. The role requires collaboration with project stakeholders to deliver safe, timely, cost-effective, and high-quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervising commercial, institutional, or industrial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Experience with Lean Construction principles and Last Planner System.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and specs compliance.
• Supervise subcontractors and crews; monitor productivity and resolve field issues.
• Conduct safety audits and site walkthroughs; enforce OSHA standards and policies.
• Coordinate just-in-time delivery to support Lean site logistics and minimize waste.
• Develop and maintain short-term and weekly lookahead schedules with the PM and Scheduler.
• Lead stand-up meetings and weekly work planning sessions using Last Planner System.
