Job summary

MC Machinery Systems Inc. seeks a Sinker EDM Field Service Technician. The role involves repairing, troubleshooting, modifying and testing Mitsubishi Machining products at customer sites across the US, with some international travel possible.

On-site service and phone support are core duties. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, be comfortable reading schematics, and travel frequently.

Qualifications

• Requires formal technical training or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with electrical measurement and inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with CNC machine repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair on-site.
• Inspect machines mechanically and electrically and perform repairs.
• Troubleshoot problems by phone when needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Interpret schematics to diagnose issues and document resolutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
