Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Columbus, OH leads the Critical Facilities-Data Centers division and is seeking an experienced project leader to direct and coordinate the overall management of multiple projects. The role reports to the Project Executive and involves building high-performance teams on-site, managing schedule, budget, QA/QC, and safety.

The candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience in construction, possess strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of related construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Experience with Building Information Models (BIM) and Lean techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop a high-performance team through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring; ensure timely performance appraisals.
• Understand and administer Turner’s contract and subcontract agreements.
• Foster and enhance owner, architect, subcontractor and vendor relations.
• Establish, update, and communicate Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation.
• May collaborate with Preconstruction in project development.
• Manage budget and financial reporting; interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to budget.
• Oversee QA/QC program and field operations.
• Drive safety protocol enforcement and labor/employee relations.
• Coordinate with Accounting to initiate Pay Applications and ensure timely payments.
• Provide management with progress updates through ORM meetings.
• Support Turner initiatives and technologies.
