Job summary
Johnson Controls Federal Systems (JCFS) seeks an experienced Commercial Electronic Security Systems Field Engineer for a remote/virtual role with extensive travel across the United States to support DoD and federal sites. Base pay ranges from $85,000 to $105,000, plus a 10% bonus and comprehensive benefits with generous vacation and holidays.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of field experience in commercial/industrial Electronic Security.
- Technical, hands-on experience with system design, commissioning and/or programming.
- Ability to explain technical material to nontechnical audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearances as needed.
Responsibilities
- Act as on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete Electronic Security projects.
- Perform or delegate tasks to complete projects including programming, installation coordination and commissioning.
- Develop project plans and coordinate resources for timely installation.
- Provide work direction to subcontractors, installers, technicians and designers as needed.
- Complete installation of hardware and software per established standards and document commissioning.
