Job summary

Johnson Controls Federal Systems is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Systems Field Engineer for their federal team. This remote/virtual role involves extensive travel (up to 75%) to support various Department of Defense projects across the United States.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of field experience in the Electronic Security industry, technical expertise in systems design, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The compensation range is $85,000 to $105,000 with a potential bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience in the commercial or industrial Electronic Security industry.
• Technical, hands-on experience with systems design, commissioning, and/or programming of Electronic Security Systems.
• Ability to communicate technical material to a nontechnical audience.

Responsibilities

• Act as an on-site project leader for Electronic Security projects.
• Manage installation coordination and commissioning of system controllers.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members.
