Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is looking for an experienced Electronic Security Systems Field Engineer to join our federal team. This remote role requires extensive travel (up to 75%) to various federal sites across the United States. Candidates should have over 5 years in the Electronic Security industry, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety standards.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000, as well as benefits starting on your first day, including paid vacation and a bonus eligibility of 10%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience in the Electronic Security industry.
• Technical hands-on experience with design and programming of Electronic Security Systems.
• Ability to communicate technical material to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as project leader for Electronic Security projects.
• Plan, execute, and complete projects in a safe manner.
• Develop project plans and coordinate resources.
• Provide direction to subcontractors and technicians.
• Manage system loading, verification, and commissioning.
• Coach Security Technicians and team members.
