Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide mechanical and electrical support at our robotics facility and client sites. This is a traveling role requiring hands-on problem solving and ability to work independently.

You will commission robotics equipment, perform startups, and train external customers while coordinating with site managers and project leaders. A technical two-year degree and 6+ years of field service experience are preferred, with 60-80% overnight

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree required.
• 6+ years in a Service Tech role.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with VFD applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical and electrical support at robotics facility and client sites.
• Commission and startup robotic products.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform start-up at installations.
• Coordinate with Service & Project Manager on-site.
• Train external customers.
• Travel 60-80% to customer locations; manage assignments.
• Ensure service quality and adhere to company standards.
• Provide feedback for Lessons Learned.
• Lift equipment up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Document site visits and service outcomes.
