Job summary

Engineered Structures, Inc. (ESI) seeks a Superintendent to oversee daily construction site functions, coordinate work execution, and ensure safety, budget alignment, and quality standards.

You will lead teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and communicate with diverse stakeholders to achieve timely, on-budget delivery. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, on-site supervision, safety training, and maintaining thorough documentation while managing potential risks and ensuring client

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; a construction management degree is preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years’ superintendent experience is preferred but not required.
• OSHA 10 or 30 and First Aid/CPR training are desired certifications.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed short interval project schedules and plans to meet milestones.
• Organize resources, materials and subcontractors to hit schedule goals.
• Lead meetings with Owner, Architect and Contractor; keep stakeholders updated.
• Oversee construction activities on site, directing workers and subcontractors.
• Maintain safety, quality, and adherence to project plans and specs.
• Monitor budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising scope.
• Generate progress reports and maintain project documentation.
