Job summary

Midnight Sun Global Services, LLC is hiring a Quality Control Manager / Site Safety and Health Officer for federal contract work at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Tacoma, WA. The candidate will implement and manage the Contractor Quality Control system to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and safety standards, reporting to the Project Manager and coordinating with the Superintendent on-site.

The role requires EM 385‑1‑1/OSHA knowledge, RMS/QCS proficiency, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience as a Quality Control Inspector or SSHO on federal projects similar in size and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain on-site presence to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Manage safety and quality control plans and oversee high-risk construction activities.
• Prepare daily QC reports and input data into RMS/QCS; support project closeout activities.
