Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Project Manager to provide direction for complex projects in collaboration with the Project Superintendent and to build lasting client and team relationships. The role includes managing self-perform work and travel to project sites across assigned markets.

The PM will lead safety initiatives, preconstruction efforts, buyout scheduling, and submittal processes, while coordinating with owners, designers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in construction management or related field.
• Proven track record in managing complex construction projects.
• Strong communication, leadership and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and promotes an injury-free environment.
• Manages prestart and preconstruction activities including takeoff, coordination and scope development.
• Drives buyout scheduling, pricing validation and subcontractor management.
• Oversees submittal schedules and ensures timely reviews by architects/engineers.
• Coordinates stakeholders (subcontractors, owner, design team, vendors) and manages change requests.
• Prepares cost and margin forecasts and supports budget development and tracking.
• Leads monthly project reviews and progress meetings; documents decisions and actions.
• Interfaces with legal counsel when needed and supports project closeout.
