Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Project Director to provide overall direction for the work program across all project phases. This role drives operational excellence, financial management, client relations, risk management, and subcontractor strategy in line with JE Dunn’s values.

You will lead senior teams, mentor managers, and ensure safety integration on every project. A Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field with 15+ years in construction and 5+ years of people leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 15+ years construction management experience (Preferred).
• 5+ years people management experience (Required).
• Must have experience running 75M+ Aviation projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership for the assigned project across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Leads safety culture and investigates incidents, mentoring staff as needed.
• Develops and supports company-wide initiatives, best practices and policies.
• Strategy development and implementation for the work program in line with company plans.
• Client relationship management and building long-term client partnerships.
• Risk management and issue resolution, including change orders and contingencies.
• Subcontractor relationship management and overall strategy.
• Preconstruction discussions with clients and internal teams.
• Project and schedule review across the lifecycle; ensure contractual obligations.
• Resource management to align staffing with project needs.
