Conti Federal Services is seeking a Project Engineer to work with the Project Team and Field Management to deliver safe, quality projects while beating budgets and maintaining strong client relations.

This role includes subcontractor management, submittals, buyout, cost estimation, and daily progress monitoring. A rotation travel requirement is possible; local candidates preferred, with opportunities for growth within a global construction and engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field with three or more years of experience.
• US Citizenship for security clearance requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and people skills.
• Entrepreneurial with a well‑rounded business perspective.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of estimating, engineering, cost tracking systems, and site surveying.

Responsabilités

• Complies with safety procedures and addresses non‑compliance among employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Supports Quality personnel and the project through the Quality Management System.
• Develops construction means and methods to optimize safety, costs, equipment use, and schedule.
• Reviews foremen's daily reports and ensures accurate cost and inventory records.
• Monitors material yields and minimizes waste.
• Assists buyout, writes requisitions, and communicates information to the Project Team.
• Conducts daily site walks to monitor progress and issues.
• Prepares 12‑month cash flow schedules and updates budgets for owner change orders.
• Oversees subcontractors and coordinates schedules, drawings, and specifications.
• Produces and manages submittals, shop drawings, and certifications for approval.
