Job summary

Conti Federal seeks a Quality Control Manager to oversee civil and structural construction quality on federal projects. The role includes daily QC reporting, submittal control, and field inspections, with a focus on preventing non-conformance.

Strong coordination with the Project Manager and clients is essential. The position requires travel rotations (minimum 3 weeks at a time with one weekend home) and a commitment to continuous improvement, safety, and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Must understand contract drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience in managing quality control on construction projects.
• Ability to lead quality inspections and coordinate with subs and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage project quality requirements on civil and structural construction.
• Maintain daily quality control reporting and non-conformance logs.
• Coordinate with Project Manager for timely submittals and reports.
• Lead quality meetings and ensure field inspections meet contract standards.
• Drive continuous process improvement to reduce waste and improve quality.
