Job summary

F3 Technologies in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Traveling Field Implementation Technician. You will travel across the United States and Canada to install, troubleshoot, and train on Point of Sale systems at diverse locations, from restaurants to hotels and venues.

You keep checkout lines moving and ensure smooth go-lives. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining POS hardware, collaborating with scheduling, documenting work, and adhering to safety and travel guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to a full week, with overnight stays away from home.
• Ability to work four (4) weekend days per month, as scheduled.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting requirements.
• Valid TSA-compliant ID for travel; passport for international travel.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance of a major commercial airport.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized across locations and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Travel Monday through Friday to customer sites in the US/Canada to install, maintain, replace, and repair POS systems.
• Install, maintain, replace, and repair POS systems at customer sites remotely as assigned.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
• Lead high-level customer engagements during training, go-live, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with scheduling to manage travel itineraries and reassign as needed.
• Transport and track company equipment and inventory during travel.
• Submit accurate expense reports and receipts per travel guidelines.
• Maintain records of work performed and parts used with proper documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
