Job summary

ECRS is seeking a POS Implementation Specialist to serve as the on-site expert for networking, hardware, and software-based retail automation systems. You will install, configure, train, and support our solutions at client locations, ensuring stores run smoothly with our POS automation.

Travel 35–40 weeks/year across the US, Canada, and Caribbean; you will install hardware, ensure software functionality, document activities, and collaborate with internal teams to exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent field experience.
• 2+ years in computer/system hardware, software, and networking repair.
• CATAPULT experience and familiarity with retail POS software/drivers preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, reverse engineering, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel 35–40 weeks/year and lift 20+ lb.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the US, Canada, and Caribbean to implement POS systems.
• Install hardware, configure software to fit client needs, and resolve issues.
• Document activities per quality procedures.
• Train customers' staff or direct them to training resources.
• Collaborate with internal staff on workflow and communication.
• Assist remotely with installations and support tasks.
• Manage customer accounts and ensure satisfaction.
