Job summary

Power Design in Austin, TX is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead field crews, drive on-time project delivery, and uphold safety and quality standards across multi-trade electrical, mechanical and plumbing installations.

The role requires 10+ years of supervision experience, an active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license, and excellent communication with customers, inspectors and trades to ensure code compliance and successful project execution.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Demonstrated leadership of field teams and meeting project goals.
• Strong communication and coordination with clients and trades.
• Basic computer and writing skills for reporting and documentation.

About The Position

The mechanical superintendent position at Power Design is a critical leadership role responsible for providing direction to the project team to complete the project on time while maintaining a high-level quality, safety and customer loyalty. The Mechanical Superintendent has significant impact on the success of the company and delivering on our mission to be the most trusted name in the industry.

What We're Looking For

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Skilled field supervisor with at least 10 years of experience managing crews and running multimillion dollar construction projects.
• An active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license.
• Proficient knowledge of the National building Code, local codes and construction safety requirements.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Must have at least basic computer and writing skills.
