Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent to lead field crews and coordinate the production of contracted work on major projects in Midland, TX. You will oversee safety, quality, and schedule while building strong client relationships and ensuring code compliance.

The role requires an active plumbing or HVAC license, 10+ years of supervision experience, and excellent communication skills. This on-site position offers growth opportunities within a national contractor with a strong safety

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing crews on multimillion-dollar construction projects.
  • Active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license required.
  • Proficient knowledge of the National Building Code and local codes.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Basic computer and writing skills are necessary.

  • Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.
  • Plan and direct production of contracted scope of work.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors, and other trades.
  • Coordinate production and attend meetings with trades and general contractor; resolve conflicts and maintain customer service.

  • Manage materials and personnel to meet schedule.
  • Adhere to Power Design’s quality, safety and best practices.

Here’s What We’re Looking For…
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Skilled field supervisor with at least 10 years of experience managing crews and running multimillion dollar construction projects.
  • An active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license.
  • Proficient knowledge of the National building Code, local codes and construction safety requirements.
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Must have at least basic computer and writing skills.
