Job summary

STATE BANK is seeking a Personal Banker Float who will travel to branches across our footprint and drive performance through strong sales of deposits, loans, and services while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will support daily banking operations, build long-term relationships, and participate in bank-wide training and referral programs. The role emphasizes cross-selling and accurate transactions in a retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Previous customer service background required; basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office) expected.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and participates in daily operational and sales activities to achieve customer service and business growth objectives.
• Provides excellent customer service and adheres to State Bank Customer Service Standards.
• Travels to branches within the footprint on a frequent basis for an undetermined length of time.
• Leads the conversion of service requests to sales.
• Builds camaraderie among the team to help deliver on service and sales goals.
• Drives sales through profiling, cross-selling, and follow-up activities; meets goals.
• Focuses on cross-sell opportunities and relationship-based new accounts.
• Processes customer transactions accurately and in compliance with policies and guidelines.
• Handles confidential information with good judgment and adheres to regulatory requirements.
