Job summary

1st Security Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to drive sales and deliver outstanding customer service in a branch setting. The role emphasizes growing customer relationships and active outside business development to build a robust sales pipeline.

You will promote bank products, open new accounts, and support customer needs while following CIP/BSA requirements. This position requires strong communication and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years experience in a sales role within a financial institution.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and offer appropriate banking solutions.
• Familiarity with teller, vault and safe deposit box operations.
• Knowledge of CIP and BSA policies for new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Sell a full range of banking services and grow customer relationships.
• Provide exceptional service and solve problems on first contact.
• Open new consumer and business accounts per bank procedures.
• Maintain an active business development pipeline and make outbound calls.
• Cross-sell products and participate in branch sales campaigns.
• Travel to other bank locations as needed and support team coverage.
• Document customer interactions in the bank system and ensure compliance.
