A leading ophthalmology practice in San Antonio is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Scribe to document examinations and assist in patient care. This role involves accurate documentation, ICD10 and CPT coding, and supporting the clinic's operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma, preferably with 6 months of medical office experience, and excellent communication skills. This position offers a pay rate of $19.00+ per hour, eligibility for overtime, and relocation assistance for those moving to San Antonio.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a medical office, preferably ophthalmology.
• Scribe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Summarize and document physician verbalizations during examinations.
• Accurate ICD10 and CPT coding.
• Assist patients as needed during examinations.
• Document patient communication for understanding of instructions.
• Maintain clinic patient flow and insurance confirmations.
